My Assistive Device Technology professor asked if I needed a PI for Grad School, and said he would be honored if I joined his lab. I had to turn him down because I haven't been thinking of going to grad school for a year or so now, but he wants me to stay in contact and maybe work on a side project developing AT for people with emotional disabilities, like Depression.
Which means a lot, that he wanted to delegate lab funds to me. He's a mobility lab.

When I announced today was my last day (as a paid worker) at the lab, my supervisor looked at me sadly and said "I'm going to miss having you around."
When I reminded him that I was volunteering for the lab next semester, he sighed. "It won't be the same. At least before I was guaranteed to see you every week. We'll miss you, and all your hard work."
That was important to hear.
