Mar. 11th, 2012 12:53 am1. What's your dream job?
Two jobs. I want to start a notforprofit organization that creates, distributes, and performs the surgeries for prosthetics and implants. I want to make the surgeries more available to people so everyone can have "human" range of motion, regardless of their situation.
And..
I want to be a writer.
2. If you could change one thing about your course structure, what would it be?
I would be taking less credit hours but still be able to graduate in four years. All while not having to spend my Friday and Saturday nights programming until three in the morning. Or working on Physics.
Can I never take Physics again?
3. What's your greatest strength? (I don't have one is not an answer)
No really, I don't have one...
I guess, if anything, I have the ability to make people trust me. Because if you are my friend, I care about you, and will always be there for you. I've always been the counselling archetype. If my friends are happy and smiling, then all is well. This is something that... apparently endears me to people?
That's about it.
4. If you could visit any country, where would it be?
Japan. I don't know why. I've always wanted to go there. Nara especially. Maybe Harujuku for the hell of it.
And..more recently...the Ukraine and Kazakhstan. Because the scenery...
5. If you had money that you had to blow on something frivolous, what would it be?
Um...a typewriter. That works. And steampunk things. Goggles and cogs and boots and stuff. And clothes that I actually like but don't necessarily have to be girly but some girly things. And masks. Lots of masks. Um...cosplay things. Some video game stuff maybe.
And all the commissions I've wanted to get but never could...
6. You have to take a dance class, what sort of dance?
I want to learn capoeira. It's like parkor meets fight dancing...I don't know, it looks fantastic. And drums...I love drums..
Or...to ballroom dance. Because even though I'm the a terribly awkward tiny individual who is uncomfortable in a dress, I would do anything to be graceful and comfortable dancing around in a masquerade mask and period ballgown...
7. List seven things you want to experience before you die.
1)A random act of culture (flash mob, giving out flowers to random people on the street, violin concert in a park)
2)Peaceful protest (although I hope this never actually has to happen, but...yes anyway).
3) Free fall
4) Pure, unadulterated fear
5) Pride and/or accomplishment. That sort of "I've finally done it" feeling.
6) Knowing that in the end, I did help someone.
7) Meeting everyone I've made friends with at least once in real life.
(Now that you've read it, here:
Comment to this post, and I will list seven things I want you to talk about. They might make sense or they might be totally random.
Then post that list, with your commentary, to your journal. Other people can get lists from you, and the meme merrily perpetuates itself.)
